Bab 43: Journey to Draconis

The sun was barely cresting the horizon when we set out for the land of dragons, known as Draconis. The journey ahead was filled with both excitement and trepidation. We had faced many challenges before, but forging an alliance with the dragons was a task of an entirely different magnitude. The memory of Seraphina, the regal dragon woman who had visited us, lingered in my mind. Her cold demeanor and striking beauty had left a lasting impression.

"Everyone ready?" I asked, my voice steady but tinged with anticipation.

Baelgor adjusted his warhammer on his back and nodded. "As ready as we'll ever be, My queen. This journey will test us, but we're prepared."

Lilith, always the pragmatist, checked her daggers. "I've gathered as much information as I could about Draconis, but much of it is shrouded in mystery. We'll need to stay on our guard."
