Bab 63: THRILL OF DYING

Disorientation gripped him as he and Luciano were pulled further through the dimensional threshold, reality itself twisting and distorting around him. Colours bled together in a dizzying display, shapes morphing and reforming in impossible ways. The fabric of existence as he had known it seemed to shift and warp, defying the natural laws he had always known. His stomach lurched from the unsteady gravity as they kept falling.

Pinching his eyes shut, Giovanni buried his face in his chest to hide from the confusion.

Then with a sudden lurch, they emerged on the other side and stumbled out of the rift into a world unlike anything he had ever seen.
