(From Blue's perspective)

"Your Highness, His Majesty, the King of Trouvaille has sent this reply," Perita said, offering me a royal blue envelope. "He composed it instantly. Can you believe that? How odd, isn't it?"

"I understand..."

He responded immediately? That was unexpected. King Ford appeared to act more swiftly than I had anticipated.

The message contained only one sentence: Of course, I will certainly advocate for one of my own kind, particularly with the knowledge that you and I could become excellent allies. Do not harbour any ill thoughts for I have no interest in someone who is wed, not in a romantic sense, at least.

"Are you positive this is intended for me?" I inquired, baffled by his words.

"Yes, Your Highness. The king also mentioned that should Your Highness doubt whether this is meant for you then rest assured, it is intended for you," Perita assured me.

"Hmm... What's the point in being so cryptic if you already knew?" I mumbled to myself.
