"My supreme unit, finally here!" Haotian took a deep breath, his excitement palpable. He had waited a long time for a supreme-class unit building to appear. It felt like an eternity.
"But come to think of it..." he mused. "My territory now has the Elven Spring and the Ancient War Tree. Am I destined to align with the Nature Elves?"
Haotian had reason to believe that if native Nature Elves saw his territory, they would be utterly shocked. The Elven Spring and Ancient War Tree were emblematic of the Nature Elves, unique to their race. Now, they had appeared in a human territory, which would surely upend their worldview.
Without hesitation, Haotian went to the side of the [Town Hall] and found an open space near the backyard to construct the [Ancient War Tree]. Soon, the ground trembled, and a small, glowing green tree emerged, rapidly growing into a towering ancient tree in seconds.
The main trunk was incredibly thick, with numerous branches extending outward, covered in emerald-like leaves. The tree formed a verdant canopy, lush and thriving. By this logic, a level 1 divine-class unit building might only recruit one unit per day. The good news was that he could use gold coins to upgrade unit buildings. Even divine-class buildings could recruit hundreds of units daily at level 9, and the number could increase tenfold at the ultimate level. Haotian felt satisfied with this potential.
He began upgrading the Ancient War Tree, spending 1,000 gold coins to reach level 2, then 3,000 coins for level 3, and so on. The upgrade costs matched those for the Royal Griffon Knight Training Grounds, with no extra expense despite the supreme-class status.

Beyond the increased recruitment capacity, the level 8 Ancient War Tree had also grown more massive. Its trunk alone was over a hundred meters in diameter, and its height surpassed three hundred meters, making it a towering giant. The tree's expansive canopy covered an area of several hundred meters, casting a shadow over the [Town Hall] and Haotian's and Sally's residence in the backyard.
