Bab 33: New Technique Completed
Holding the title of genius and being the foremost of the new generation of the Nara clan, Yasuke enjoyed several conveniences within his clan, not just in terms of training resources but also in intelligence.
Whenever something interesting happened in Konoha Village, Shikaku would inform Yasuke to help cultivate his skills, often using these incidents as a test of Yasuke's judgment.
The Fourth Hokage's plan for the temporary ANBU unit was something Yasuke had known about for some time. However, Yasuke never imagined that at just four years old, and not even having attended the Ninja Academy, he would be included in this plan under the Fourth Hokage's deliberate arrangement!

Before going further, it's necessary to explain the Fourth Hokage's temporary ANBU plan, also known as the temporary worker plan.
To gather Konoha's new generation of geniuses and build his own force, the Fourth Hokage, with the Third Hokage's approval, intended to gather some elites for his ANBU. However, these elites wouldn't have official ANBU status nor would they undergo the preliminary training required for becoming ANBU.
The Fourth Hokage's true goal was to integrate talented ninjas like Yasuke and Guy into his team early on, leaving his mark on them. At the same time, he intended to use the battlefield to hone these elites, helping them become fully-fledged ninjas as quickly as possible.
While watching the original storyline, Yasuke had an idea: ninjas who had not participated in ninja wars were far inferior to those who had. So, when Shikaku told Yasuke about the Fourth Hokage's "temporary worker" plan, Yasuke was very supportive. However, when Yasuke expressed his desire to join the "temporary worker" plan, Shikaku's initially smiling face suddenly turned grim, and he forcefully knocked Yasuke on the head!
"Ridiculous!"
"Yasuke, Minato's idea is good, but do you know how difficult it is to implement?"

Initially, when Shikaku finished speaking, Yasuke thought he was overreacting. However, upon returning home and reflecting, Yasuke realized the potential drawbacks of early battlefield participation. So, although he outwardly supported the Fourth Hokage's "temporary worker" plan, he had reservations about its feasibility.
Unexpectedly, during today's encounter with ANBU and seeing the renowned Kakashi, Yasuke and Guy both ended up being included in the Fourth Hokage's plan.
Thus, seeing the excited and thrilled Guy, Yasuke felt very conflicted. Clearly, the prospect of soon following the Fourth Hokage to the battlefield excited Yasuke.
After all, Yasuke had some reputation in Konoha Village, but on the battlefield, he was just a weakling. Moreover, Yasuke believed that only in the battlefield could he make significant progress.

When Yasuke entered Shikaku's room, he was surprised to see another familiar figure already there.

"Yasuke, you're back?"
"Your performance today was outstanding. I was just discussing it with Shikaku."
Smiling warmly, the Fourth Hokage waved Yasuke over. Seeing his nominal teacher inviting him, Yasuke respectfully greeted the Fourth Hokage and sat beside Shikaku.
Soon, after some trivial conversation, the topic shifted to Yasuke joining the "temporary worker" plan.
"Minato, are you sure? Yasuke is only four years old. Is it really appropriate for him to enter the battlefield for training?"
"Don't worry, Shikaku. Yasuke will just be getting a feel for the battlefield, not actually participating in combat."
Maintaining his gentle smile, the Fourth Hokage glanced at Yasuke and reassured Shikaku: "Shikaku, I understand your concerns. But remember, this is both dangerous and a great opportunity for Yasuke. He could potentially surpass Kakashi and become the youngest Jonin in the village."
"Moreover, before entering the battlefield, I'll personally train Yasuke."
"Three days should be enough given Yasuke's talent, right?"
"Shikaku, given all this, you surely won't refuse me, right?"
Seeing the Fourth Hokage's sincerity and knowing that Yasuke was from a clan that guarded the Hokage, Shikaku silently nodded, agreeing to let Yasuke join the "temporary worker" plan.
Afterward, when the Fourth Hokage left, he handed Yasuke a scroll containing basic ANBU equipment and informed him of the meeting time for the next day before swiftly leaving Shikaku and Yasuke's home.
But as the Fourth Hokage left, Yasuke didn't pay much attention to his parting words because, at that moment, the system's voice echoed in Yasuke's mind again!
