"State your name and clan!"

The moment Di Tian appeared within close quarters, one of the guards spoke up.

"Di Tian...Err, Di Clan?" Di Tian said with a straight face.

This Big City had a teleportation array. He wanted to go in to make use of it, so he had no choice but to lie.

"Scanning target... recording features, complete. Database matching complete. Target's features do not match a Di Tian of the Di Clan on the registered list!"

'I'm more surprised there really is a Di clan in there,' Di Tian thought to himself, squinting as he looked at the two guards more intently.

'Also, these guards seem to be... robots?'

Upon closer inspection, he realized that although they appeared robotic somewhat and spoke like programmed puppets, they had life signatures, so it wasn't likely.

'Refined living humans then?' a terrifying conjecture came to Di Tian's mind and he secretly inhaled sharply.
