"Stand firm! Soldiers of Storsea!" Cassian rallied the militias and his soldiers. Though it was clear that in the field of battle, they were the first to begin faltering.

With cutlasses dancing in the air, and smirks of evil as if blood thirsting for any that stood on that beach, they charged. Dust and sand lifted up in the air, its smoke making a cover right behind them.

From the cover of smoke came the second barrage of arrows.

At least the militias and knights could cower near the ships, while the watchmen lay down flat, as they were trained to do. But the mercenaries being the ones in front of the fray was different. 

The Strongmen Company was symbolized by one thing-brute strength and large weapons. Two handed axes, polearms, polehammers, and greatswords, all weapons with the ability to cut down a living man in half with a single swing.
