Bab 46: 046 - From the ashes: LEAVE! GO AWAY!

When Evelyn got home, she sighed in relief. She was thankful that she had to deal with no more surprises tonight.

She put her bag down, changed her shoes, and did what she always did after coming home. She went to check on her son who was sleeping soundly.

Seeing him brought a smile full of affection to her face. But at the same time, it made another face appear in her mind. A face that made her heart feel complicated.

She touched the left side of her face and muttered:

"Wasn't he wounded in the face?"

Now that she was thinking back to what happened, despite the bad lighting in the bar, she was certain his face had not been sporting any wound or scar. He looked the same as she remembered, handsome, with a dark atmosphere that pulled her heart like a magnet, only more mature.

Shaking her head, she forced herself to stop entertaining thoughts about the man. She carefully left the bedroom, and went to the bathroom.
