Bab 41: Chapter 38 The Kannabi Bridge
Usagi kept repeating the mission written in the scroll inside his mind, to him, who knows the future of Minato and Konoha as a whole, its suspicious that the Third would add him in the kannabi bridge mission since this mission would help Minato gain enough merits to be taken seriously as a hokage candidate,not to mention the battle of Minato against the whole army of Rock village.
'Whats his purpose for doing this?, why is he so invested in me, why involve me!?' Usagi felt like he was mission something, something that could answer all his question.
The third should already know that he wasnt the disciple of Jiraiya, nor was he a ninja with a powerful clan backing him up....Thats it!
'I am the second Minato,a ninja with power but no background,easy to control...hahaha' Usagi felt relieved, as if a heavt boulder had been lifted off his body
As long as the reason was known, he could cope with it, feeling his mind clear up, Usagi went on to practice his Lightning chakra mode body training method.
Due to the Senju bloodline, every second he felt like he was reaching a new threshold, his chakra,Robustness and Vitality were increasing by the hour.
Like how a ninja child goes into his growth phase, plus the increased Chakra element affinities provided him a boost in ninjutsu casting.
His jutsu was more powerful,less chakra conauming, the only reason the affinities werent at a hundred was because he needed to learn to mold each chakra nature, effectively becoming a professor.
Not to mention the various talents he gained,The Senju really were the geniuses, a clan called as The Thousands Hands/Skill Clan
Previous Taijutsu attacks that seemed foggy were now clearer,his kenjutsu also improving at a fast pace as his clones put in the work, he even learned to make some Fuinjutsu based off of the storage scroll, explosive tags and such.
Usagi's power and versatility was growing at a rapid rate,previously hard to master jutsu were now easy as a pea.
'If the Hokage thinks he can control me like Minato,then its his choice,although i haven't been wronged by him till now' Usagi thought
On the contrary,Usagi is able to earn profits from Hokage, that extra cash the Hokage gave him was also very helpful
"Sigh...lets just let fate take its course,i will deal with the problems once they come,speaking of problems...what do i do with Obito" Usagi thought

"Why is senpai taking so long!" Obito asked as he stood by a huge tree,chewing on a piece of grass
Not only him,even Kakashi,Rin and Minato were waiting,Usagi was late by thirty minutes.

Before Minato could finish he felt his scalp tingle as Usagi simply appeared in front of them
"Haha! Sorry sorry, i was on my way when i got attacked by a lion.."

"Its true!" Usagi protested,being faced by four people with deadfish eyes caused him to feel mentally suffocated,he finally relented and looked away in guilt
"Now that everyone is here, we need to move,Kakashi and Usagi will take the Rear while i will take the front,You two will be in the middle" Minato quickly gave orders since time was of the essence
They started moving through the dense grasslands,grass as high as 5 ft was spread all around,making it hard for scouting, but Minato was a genuine ninja with sensory abilities,allowing them all to keep low.
'The mission is going smoothly for now,i wonder if this is also AU and we wont have to loose Obito,as for me, i think its better if i just grow stronger slowly and not get in the sights of big guys like Madara for now' Usagi thought to himself
Just as he was distracted, a giant boulder flew towards the group, Usagi sensed it in the nick of time.
*Slash*
"Enemy attack!" Usagi gave a low shout,one of them probably activated a hidden trap....probably Obito"
Followed by his shout, a squad of ninja appeared,Three jonin and four chunin
They were a sizeable group,
'If we each take a jonin, that leaves Rin and Obito with three Chunin'
Minato thought as he signaled Kakashi and Usagi
"Get into formation!" He shouted as him,Kakashi and Usagi put their backs to each other with Rin and Obito in between
"Sensei! We need to get rid of them or they will call for reinforcements" Kakashi shouted as he unleashed a few chakra infused Shuriken, the Shuriken clashed against each other, changing directions in an unusual way
One of the Chunins who was just about to sent a bunch of Earth bullets at them had his eyes pierced,scrambling to the ground in pain
"Tch! I missed" said Kakashi as he took out a few more shuriken
The rest of the Earth ninja acted fast,erecting an Earth wall while one of the Jonin used Earth wave to destabilize the ground and seperating the group.
"Woah! Rin! Be careful" Obito shouted in worry seeing a chunin come at her, completely ignoring one coming at him from below the ground
*kaching* Usagi acted as he clashed against one of the jonin,his eyes surverying the area.
"Damn! Its you! Kaminari,i shall take revenge for our brethrens" the ninja shouted in anger as he was thrown far with a single punch by Usagi,spouting a mouthful of blood
The ninja used Light weight technique and Added weight technique to pick up a five meter giant boulder,sending it flying at the group.
