She can't help but wonder if he might be right if Ramsey's avoidance is indeed rooted in some more profound, unspoken emotion. 

The thought both intrigues and terrifies her.

The two of them fall into an easy conversation, the tension from earlier gradually dissipating as they sip their drinks. 

Robin finds herself surprisingly at ease, her hatred for Malik fading into the background as she allows herself to be drawn in by his charismatic presence. 

It was the reason she fell for him in the first place. 

He had a way of making you seem like the only one in the room.

Time seems to slip away, and before long, Robin feels the familiar warmth of intoxication spreading through her body. 

Her eyelids grow heavy, and as she struggles to keep them open, she finds herself leaning towards Malik, her head resting against his shoulder.

Malik stiffens momentarily, seemingly caught off guard by the unexpected contact.
