"Winter… I'm so sorry…" Sebastian said dejectedly. He was sorry for being weak-willed and also ignorant. He also felt sorry because he failed to give the most basic things such as jewelry to make her happy.
"I told you, it's fine, Sebastian," Winter smiled. She chuckled seeing the tears welling up in his eyes. "Why are you crying? Do you want me to wipe it?"
"Wha—!" Sebastian quickly wiped the tears from his eyes. "N-no, it's not tears. I—uh… I get dust in my eyes."
"Hmm. Sure, I believe that," Winter giggled.
Lucien had been staring at them, and the smug smile on his face vanished. He didn't care about the ten million dollars. It wasn't that much money for him to begin with.
