Liam almost choked his heart out, he couldn't believe what he was seeing, he was sure they had Tessa, how come they took Klaus's hands instead?

Impossible!

"You have been under my magic trick since the moment you took Miss Tessa's hands"

Sam's eyebrows raised to his forehead, he was sure he placed the rat in Tessa's pocket, not the bag. Klaus interference caused everything, he should've known, why would he misplace his trick?

They have been under the master trick this entire time.

"Master forgive us. Forgive us"

Liam burst out in tears. He stammered.

"I... I never wanted to... I wanted to obey your words, but... but old man Marshall said he would cut our head off if we don't bring Tessa home"

Josh joined Liam in tears.

"Yes! Liam is right! We couldn't go home! old man Marshall would execute us"

Klaus's expression was deadpan.

"What makes you think I won't do the same? I could even do worse than that old man"
