At that point, the spirit should have definitely realized that something was off.

The spirit could have recognized that Alya was obviously the most suspicious person, prompting them to switch to another person.

That person could have been anyone besides my corrupted figure.

Attacking Alya right now wouldn't do anything, as there was a possibility that the spirit was contracted with another member of the main cast.
