Chapter 173

"What if she runs away with it?" Xia Lu asked once She and Wei Jun were alone after their meeting with Yue Peng.

Wei Jun calmly replied, "No she won't."

"An awful lot of faith in her." Xia Lu said with a frown.

"That company is like her child. She won't leave it. No matter what." Wei Jun said.

"What if she does? Do you really believe she would be a good mother?" Xia Lu asked.

"Doesn't matter whether I believe it or not. I have to. Because they're my mother's words. I have no choice but to believe them." Wei Jun said as he stood up and extended his palm towards Xia Lu so she could stand up as well.

Xia Lu took his hand and stood up. They left the place as they chatted about various things.

As they came outside, Wei Jun felt the stare of someone in his direction. He turned to look at the person who was glaring at him. Wei Jun would have been very flattered had the one looking at him was a beautiful woman.
