As Wei Jun intensely stared at the woman before him, the woman felt more worry creep inside of her. "Are you… Are you also a disciple of a sect?" The woman asked.

"And what if I am?" Wei Jun asked in return, not giving any clue in his answer that he didn't belong to one. Although Wei Jun didn't know the story behind the sect thing, he did know that being one to the woman right now had a higher chance of her trusting him.

"Then… which one's, may I ask?" The woman respectfully asked. Even if he didn't belong to a high-ranking sect but a lower-level one like hers, given his strength, he must be an internal disciple or even a core disciple. A lower-level inner disciple like her had to show respect regardless.
