Bab 210: 210- White Palace Is Booked

Marissa's eyes were still closed, and she could feel Rafael's fingers running through her hair. For a minute she thought it was a hilarious situation. 

She was in the President's office, sitting on the President's lap, while he was settled on the floor, making sure that she felt comfortable. 

Very slowly he was making his way back into her heart. The false walls around her were gradually crumbling down making her more vulnerable.

If he would stay this persistent then she was sure, one day… or maybe one night, she might be begging him to spend the night with her. Like a proper committed husband.

The only question that was bugging at the back of her mind was if he thought she was innocent, then why wasn't he confronting his mom and her elder wicked sister?

Why wasn't he holding their collars?
