Bab 250: A Dazzling End

Lucius coughed up some blood while on the ground. He could barely raise his head as he looked in the direction of the pillar of purple fire. He could hear the pained cries of the beast, but that was not enough.

The murderous gaze of the Siltfang Ravager was fixated on him, even within the chaos. He knew the beast still had some fight and if he kept lying down he would be killed.

Unfortunately, Lucius lacked a leg and two hands. His hands were halfway healed, while his leg's healing process was only starting. There was no way it would be ready before the beast recovered.

"This was not part of the plan, but I guess I have no choice." Lucius gasped.

Everyone watched as Lucius began struggling to get up without his hands and only one foot. Those watching couldn't help but cover their lips, shocked by how much Lucius was willing to give just to achieve victory.
