Bab 82: The heroic spirit summoned by the evil dragon!

Transformed into a minuscule specter, the squid girl frequently hid her visage behind the cloak of her swirling tentacles, stealing furtive glances at the formidable black dragon. Panic seized her when the dragon alighted nearby; her tentacles flailed in desperation as she contemplated escape.

The dragon, having harbored a grudge from a previous deep-sea altercation, seemed unreasonably vengeful. After all, she had merely pilfered a few fruits and vegetables from his realm, not his kin. Was such wrath justified simply to reclaim stolen produce?

"You've already claimed victory over me once," she protested, her voice a mix of threat and warning. "Strike me again, and I swear I'll taint your waters until your seas turn as dark as the abyss itself. I'll fight until my last breath. Even I fear my own wrath when pushed to the brink. It would be wise to show some mercy."
