Malfoy had very mixed feelings about Andy.
He had made a big splash because of Andy's plan, and because of Andy's plan, he had got a hard payback from Quirrell.
While recuperating in the school's hospital wing, Malfoy had reflected on it.
Was he being taken advantage of?
On the one hand, he felt that Andy wouldn't have thought that much about it; after all, during the time when the school had just started, no one knew that Quirrell was the bad guy.
And on the other hand, he felt that Andy was unkind by nature for pushing him to the forefront.
Seeing Andy smile and nod at him, Malfoy felt complicated for a moment.
Heh~.
Andy let out a light laugh and cocked his head at Malfoy, signalling for the two to go out and have a private chat.
Malfoy: "..."
"I'm going out."
Saying hello to Hermione, Andy got up and glanced at Malfoy before leaving the great hall.
Malfoy's face darkened.
If he didn't go out, it would look as if he was afraid of Andy.
The great hall is on the ground floor, Andy walked out of the castle and found a deserted and empty place.
After waiting for a short while, Malfoy hesitantly walked over.
"What's up?" Malfoy asked dryly.
"I want to know, do you still have any memories from a while ago?"
Andy got straight to the point, "After being attacked by Quirrell, you should have had your memories modified, right?"
"How do you know?" Malfoy turned ashen.
Andy smirked, "Don't be nervous, I'm simply curious. I'm a Ravenclaw, it's only natural that I have an abundance of curiosity, right?"
What's there to be curious about?
Malfoy felt like he was being mocked.
"Collins, did you do that on purpose?" Malfoy asked with a red face.
"This is proper academic research."
Andy had a straight face, "In the magic world, there aren't many examples of having one's memory modified."
Especially the ones who had their memories modified and ended up still alive were even less numerous
"That's not what I'm talking about."
Malfoy said in annoyance, "I'm talking about expelling Quirrell, did you let me do it on purpose?"
"Of course, it was on purpose, didn't we pass a note?"
Andy looked at Malfoy differently, then reacted, "Oh, I didn't think that Quirrell would be the bad guy either, I thought he was just the unqualified professor."
Malfoy's face looked better.
Just looking at the way Quirrell had stammered back then, who would have thought he was a Death Eater?
"Tell me, do you have any memories from before? What's it like to have your memories modified?" Andy asked again.
"Why would I tell you?" Malfoy's face flushed red as he felt offended.
Of course, there was another secret in Malfoy's heart that he couldn't tell.
In his modified memories, his father, Lucius Malfoy, was a Death Eater, and he was an enthusiastic little Death Eater.
He came to Hogwarts to steal the Philosopher's Stone and resurrect the Dark Lord.
Andy looked around and said, seemingly offhandedly, "Malfoy, do you know why I asked you here?"
Malfoy looked around and paled slightly, "Collins, what do you mean? This is Hogwarts, I don't believe you dare attack me!"
Andy quickly pulled out his wand.
"Petrificus Totalus!"
A magic beam flew out, and Malfoy's entire body was sent flying backwards, stiff and motionless.
Andy looked down on Malfoy from above, cocked his head, and said in a careless tone, "See, I was daring."
Andy didn't mean to bully the child.
That little thought of Malfoy's, Andy saw through it at a glance.
Very often, the so-called conflicts started from a little thing and gradually became irreconcilable.
Just like Harry and Malfoy in the original story.
Their very first contradiction actually originated from a friendship failure.
Andy was not afraid of Malfoy, but his father, Lucius Malfoy, had a lot of influence in the British magic world.
In case Malfoy came home to complain, it would inevitably cause a little bit of trouble.
Andy's dad, Kyle Collins, worked at the Ministry of Magic, and Andy didn't want his behaviour at school to affect his dad's work.
That being the case, intimidating Malfoy for a while was necessary.
Of course, Andy was really quite curious about how it felt to modify his memory.
Memory magic, among all magic systems, was also extremely high-end magic.
Andy continued, "Are you thinking that I don't dare to kill you? Or maybe, you want to tell Professor Snape and your father?"
Malfoy was stiff, his face and eyes remained blank.
But it was so easy to guess what was going on in the mind of such a brat.
"You're right in thinking that I would indeed not dare to lay a hand on you in school."
Hearing these words, Malfoy's heart was instantly relieved, and then he thought about how to get back at Andy in the future.
Before Malfoy could come up with a good idea, he heard Andy continue, "But we'll have to graduate sometime, don't you think?"
"I don't suppose you want to have to defend yourself against me at all times in the future, do you?"
Malfoy's heart tightened at that.
Andy knew in his heart that this little trick might be able to scare Malfoy for a while, but the thing about trouble children was - they don't remember what they eat.
Andy decided to directly strike hard, "I am only interested in magic, what is the difference between wizards and muggles? Why do wizards have magic powers?"
"Perhaps ... the only way to get an answer to that question is to deconstruct a few wizards and muggles."
"The same goes for memory magic, if you don't tell me, then I'll have to capture a few wizards and test them myself later."
While speaking, Andy kept staring at Malfoy.
That look was like saying: if you don't tell me, I'll experiment on you later.
"Finite!"
Andy lifted the Full Body-Bind Curse on Malfoy, and his eyes carried a few moments of fervour, "Malfoy, I hope you can answer my questions on magic."
Malfoy's face paled, and his whole body contracted, "I...I..."
He wanted to say, My father is a school board governor, I'm going to go back and tell my father.
But seeing Andy's frenzied demeanour, Malfoy's words that had just reached his mouth were directly stifled back.
As the saying goes, the lawful ones are afraid of the lawless ones, and the lawless ones are afraid of the desperate ones.
When had a pampered rich kid like Malfoy ever been intimidated like this?
Malfoy even felt that even Quirrell was not as scary as Andy.
The mad scientist persona did bluff sometimes.
"Gulp!"
Malfoy gulped and backed up with his hands on the ground, he looked like he wanted to yell for someone, but Andy's wand stayed pointed at him.
Malfoy wondered if he could pull out his wand and fight back. But he searched through his memories and couldn't find a single spell that could deal with this situation.
"I don't suppose you want to disappoint me...Malfoy?"
Andy looked sideways at Malfoy, "I won't bother you in the future as long as you tell me honestly...how was that?"
