Bab 81: Chapter 81: Turning 18

Matthew couldn't believe how fast time had flown by. It seemed like just yesterday he was a 16-year-old kid making his debut for Birmingham City FC. Now, he was just a few weeks away from turning 18.

As he lay in bed, Matthew thought about all the changes that had taken place in his life over the past two years. He had gone from a young prospect to a regular starter for his club, and had even won the U-18 World Cup with his country. He had grown up so much, both on and off the pitch.

But as he approached adulthood, Matthew knew that new challenges lay ahead. He would soon be eligible to sign a professional contract with his club, and he would have to start thinking about his future. He had always dreamed of playing for the senior national team, and he knew that the next few years would be crucial in achieving that goal.
