"Then pick up the phone when I call" Jess swallowed hard looking around if someone was watching no one was.
"I need time, how am I supposed to come up with a plan if you keep calling every second" Jess unlocked the car and opened it but Princess shut it hard with her face twitching into a frown.,
"If you don't come up with a plan before night fall You will force me to put handcuffs on your sister Mary, I did a little research on her she was in a gang known as the tribe well things went south she disappeared, tribes are known to be working hand in hand with the Russians, the fucking Russians I'm talking about gunrunning and pure cocaine I might dig further trust me I will find what will put her for life not on her late boyfriend trafficking" princess said her piece and get into her car then zoom off. Jess watched the car until it was out of sight from the parking lot.
In her thoughts, when she saw Maggie knocking on her windshield. She winds down.
"Hey," Jess said with a smile, maggie was grateful she smiled not like who had been ignoring her calls all day even Ditch the morning meeting.
"Are you okay?" Maggie asked checking her out, Jess kept on a cool face to pretend everything was fine.
"Yes, I am" she answered but Maggie didn't look satisfied so she had to put more effort into looking better. She flipped her hair back holding the steering wheel tightly.
"I tried to reach you so many times and you didn't show up in the senior meeting this morning"
"Because I have nothing to do there, I came just to write my exam" She tried to be collected of her words but Maggie bridged her again.
"And Travis, he's worried about you and what happened the internet is blowing up about a rumour that you cheated on Travis" Jess furrowed her eyebrow.
"You know how the internet is, they just write what they want and we all have lives around here" Maggie noticed she wasn't interested in the part about Travis worried about her.
"Just me and Chris, Travis is worried about you but that's not why I'm here, you are to assist me in throwing the last ball of the season for the seniors if you have any intentions to go on the lovey-dovey trip if there is any"
"You signed me up without my permission" Jess said with a scowl on her face looking offended.
"I didn't sign you up" Maggie defensively said raising her two hands in surrender Jess waited for her to talk but she didn't say anything.
"Then who, have you ever seen me participate in anything in this bloody school" Jess withdrew her tone as she realised she was being harsh with Maggie.
"I'm sorry" she quickly apologised, Maggie exhaled briefly.
"I can't do this alone I have to come through either way and I'm not being paid but I have to make it worth it you know " she said
"or you want to make sure it hit the Instagram top ten decors for the event" Maggie gave her a dead glare.
