Bab 87: Chapter 86

In my brief moment of rest, I immediately fell asleep. My fatigue and drowsiness brought me into a deep slumber. I woke up around seven in the evening.

I heard the voices of two women outside the room. They were probably done with their duty for the day.

I slowly got up from the bed, my eyes gradually adjusting to the darkness since I hadn't turned on the light in my room earlier before I fell asleep. I dressed in simple clothes—a loose t-shirt and jeans. I looked at myself in the mirror, fixing my hair and making sure I looked presentable before I left the room.

When I reached the door, I held the doorknob and slowly opened it. The sound of the door opening immediately drew the attention of the two women. They were still in their uniforms, sitting at the table and eating fruit.

"How's the CEO's assistant?" Jazz teased. Dalcy just looked at me, her chin resting on her hand.
