Bab 37: Chapter 37: Ambush or Assassination! [4]

A strong wind outside the battle area swayed the branches of the majestic trees to and fro.

Men clad in blood-red robes stood at the top of the majestic trees surrounding Jalroth Forest. 

"Master Yi, it seems like we have some unwanted guests," a voice said.

"Unwanted guests? It's more like a freeway to heaven. Zhu She get ready. We need to strike before it's too late. This mission cannot fail," Jia Yi interjected, gripping her hands tightly in a fist.

Just as Jia Yi spoke, a man with a tall stature and a very handsome face, dressed in a black robe with fox fur, stepped out from a carriage. 

He carried an oppressive aura that made the men in blood-red robes quiver. On the other hand, Jia Yi had a frightened expression on her face. 

'What is he doing here? He wasn't supposed to be here! Is the information wrong?' Jia Yi thought. Her thoughts were in turmoil.
