Marlowe, her breaths coming in ragged gasps, shook her head stubbornly. "It's okay... I can still fight," she insisted, unwilling to admit her exhaustion.

"No, sit back!" Brittany ordered, her voice firm. "You've done enough. Rest and recover."

Aseira, amidst the chaos, stood serenely, her robes billowing around her as countless demons swarmed her position.

"...Drain," she whispered, her voice barely audible above the din of battle.

The demons surrounding her suddenly convulsed, their eyes widening in terror as their mana was siphoned away at an alarming rate. Their bodies withered, their strength fading until they collapsed, lifeless, onto the ground.

"Drain their souls..." Aseira continued, her voice a chilling whisper.

As the demons around her fell, Aseira surveyed the scene with a critical eye. She saw only combat-ready demons, no sign of the vulnerable or innocent.
