Bab 268: Stop Gariel or wrost

With a blur of white feathers and celestial energy, Gariel intercepted the human mid-flight. The air crackled as their auras clashed, momentarily halting Hila's escape.

"What do you think you're doing?" Gariel demanded, his voice booming with angelic authority.

His hand instinctively raised, a shimmering light sword materializing in his grip. It pulsed with a holy light, casting an ethereal glow on the scene.

Hila, taken aback by the sudden appearance, faltered for a moment. However, his surprise quickly melted into a smirk. "These unconscious elves, I'm merely helping them escape the threat."

Gariel wasn't convinced. The way Hila spoke, the speed with which he acted – it all screamed of a hidden agenda. "Help? By taking them to another dimension?" he countered, his voice laced with suspicion. "Release them immediately, or face the consequences."
