He burst into the village clearing, his heart sinking at the scene before him. Shrills of terror pierced the air – a villager, his face contorted in agony, was being savaged by a demonic claw.

"Waaa!" the man screamed, blood blossoming on his torn flesh.

"Help! Anyone help!" his desperate pleas echoed amidst the chaos.

Four other demons, grotesque parodies of human forms, rampaged through the village square. Thankfully, no lives had been claimed yet, but the scene was a terrifying tableau of impending doom.

Without a moment's hesitation, Alex charged into the fray. He open the inventory and equip golden sage box, a burst of sunlight erupting from within.
