Bab 61: After Ceremony III

Doubt gnawed at him. He wouldn't let them down. He wouldn't let himself down. He may not have been Mr. Ten, but Alex could be something more. He could be a leader who inspired, guided, who fought alongside his fellow students.

Taking a deep breath, he straightened his posture, a flicker of newfound resolve settling in his gaze. He may have stumbled into this situation, but he wouldn't back down now. He would learn, he would grow, and together, they would face whatever challenges awaited them.

Jian Gang, leaned closer to Alex, his deep voice barely a rumble. "Well, well. Looks like you'll be stuck with me, huh?"

Alex, still reeling from the whirlwind of events, could only manage a weak chuckle. "I guess so," he stammered, a touch of pride battling with the gnawing anxiety in his gut. "Leading heroes and all…"
