In the dim arcade,

Lav sat in front of a glowing gaming monitor, her hands moving with relentless precision. The flashing lights and sounds blurred into the background as she concentrated. Then, a familiar voice she had been waiting for broke through the noise. "Oh, Lavanya, you're here?"

Her hands froze, and she turned to see Jaxen standing nearby, his presence catching her off guard. "Sir Jaxen!" she exclaimed, her surprise evident yet feigned. "So, you really do play here often" Jaxen remarked as he took a seat beside her, his tone casual yet intrigued.

"I wanted to kill some time" Lav lied through her teeth. "How about a play? We can both pass time together" Jaxen challenged, a spark of anticipation in his eyes. He had been looking forward to this day, perhaps even more than his next match in the ring.
