Bab 88: The meteor shower

The night had approached.

On the chair, L looked up at the sky covered in stars. Words were not sufficient to describe the beauty. This breathtaking scene definitely took the number one place in her heart. Silence was loud, but comfortably hidden. Despite her attention on sky, Caleb only looked at Lilith.

It did not matter how beautiful the night sky appeared; nothing could compare to Lilith's beauty. The stars reflecting in her eyes made him hold his breath. A soft smile on her lips grasped onto his heart. He wanted to protect her smile. If possible, he wished to hold her forever.

Caleb's hand raised but stopped amidst. His fingers curled up into a fist as his jaw clenched. What should he do? One touch and she could be ruined in his hands. He did not want to destroy the atmosphere with his wild desires. "Isn't it beautiful?" L asked with eyes looking up.
