Bab 59: Her rejection

The day after sending out the invitation,

The prey walked in. "Lauren! Lauren!" Barging into the office, Rosa shouted the name. "Yes?" Confused, L peered up. "There is a man waiting for you in guest room! He said he had to meet you, no matter what! I told him he had to book an appointment, but he refused!"

Rosa never mentioned the name but L immediately knew who it would be. Ryuu had been avoiding her after the incident at the love hotel. The only man who would appear right now would be Keiji. He came earlier than she thought though. "Tell him I am too busy to talk"

The fact that she did not bother to ask who it was puzzled Rosa. She pointed at herself; "I have yet to mention his name. What if he is someone you are close to?" Her perplexity rang in the tone. "I don't need to check. You can kick him out by force" Focusing back on work, L allowed.
