Bab 36: College Entrance Examination
It was finally closing time and the car soon arrived at the Qing family home.
When Qing Mian alighted, she suddenly heard a familiar voice. "Mianmian."
Qing Mian suddenly lifted her head and looked over in surprise. She saw Xue Muyun standing in the parking lot and smiling warmly at her.
Qing Mian used to be very happy when she saw Xue Muyun that she thought she liked him, but today, for some unknown reason, she was a little lonely. It was as though when she lifted her head and saw that it was him and not someone else, she felt a little unhappy...
This had to be an illusion.
Qing Mian suppressed the strangeness in her heart and said, "Brother Muyun, why are you here?"
In the past few months, Qing Mian had only seen him five times. If she remembered correctly, he should not be in City Y because of his tight schedule.
Xue Muyun patted his clothes and touched his glasses. The lenses were reflecting light and exuding an inexplicable coldness. However, when he moved slightly, the light reflected elsewhere.
He removed his eyeglasses and wiped them clean, in the process revealing the pair of eyes behind the lenses.
His eyelashes were long and well-defined. He had a pair of beautiful peach blossom eyes, and the expression in them was so gentle that it was irresistible.
After wiping his glasses, Xue Muyun put them on again before replying, "I'll cheer you on for your college entrance examination the day after tomorrow."
Qing Mian nodded.
Xue Muyun looked gentle and had a smile on his face. "I'm very confident in your results. I know that you'll definitely do well, so don't be nervous."
"Okay!"
Xue Muyun then said some things to take note of during the college entrance examination. In the end, he smiled and said, "Do you need me to give you psychological relief? So you won't be too stressed and nervous?"
Qing Mian: "... Why would I be stressed and nervous?"
He could not help but laugh and rub Qing Mian's hair. "Alright, our Mianmian has long been prepared. How can she be stressed and nervous? Then, if you can get first in the examination, will you treat me to a meal?"
Qing Mian thought about it seriously. "Mhm, you won't say anything about me wanting to be an actress?"
Xue Muyun smiled again. "Mianmian, you're too cute. Brother will support you no matter what"
After the two of them exchanged a few more words, Xue Muyun bade Qing Mian farewell. "Then I'll leave first. I won't disturb you from your studying. Sleep early tonight."
"Okay."
Qing Mian watched as Xue Muyun got into the car. After watching him leave, she turned around and walked into the house.
Xue Muyun who had driven away from the Qing family home, turned a corner and could not see Qing Mian in the rearview mirror anymore. The gentleness on his face slowly faded and turned cold.
"How dare they bully my Mianmian?"
The next day, everyone went to the examination hall and familiarized themselves with their seats. They returned to rest and prepared for the real college entrance examination.
From the afternoon onwards, Qing Mian had stopped studying. Instead, she watched television and played games. That night, after dinner, Qing Mian got into bed at 10:30pm and prepared to sleep.
Before she fell asleep, she subconsciously picked up her phone again.
She subconsciously dialed Li Min's number again.
The phone rang and Li Min's long-awaited voice sounded. "Mianmian?."
Qing Mian wanted to say that she was going to take the college entrance examination tomorrow and would definitely score well.
However, she immediately shouted: "It's nothing. I wanted to call someone else"
After hanging up, she fell asleep.
In her dream, she saw Li Min smiling at her and said in a deep voice, "Mianmian, good luck in the college entrance examination!"

On the day before the college entrance examination, City Y was shrouded in dark clouds. The weather forecast said that there would be rain in the next two days. The entire City Y was facing a formidable enemy. The bus served the high school students, and the taxi drivers even offered rides for free if the students showed their admission ticket.
All the examination halls were already pasted with the notification of what's to come. It seemed that all the cities were making way for the college entrance examination.
However, in the next two days, the forecast said that the rain would not come. What came were two sunny days, but it was not the scorching sun in the sky. There were two clouds that blocked the sunlight. The temperature was suitable, and it was very comfortable during the examination.
At five in the afternoon, the examination candidates handed in their papers and swarmed out of the examination hall.
Their high school life had finally come to an end.
Qing Mian walked out of the examination hall in a daze. Looking at the blue sky and the white clouds, she heard the deafening sounds coming from the students and her lips twitched.
In order to express her respect for the college entrance examination, she did not submit her paper in advance. In fact, City Y's college entrance examination was not allowed to be submitted in advance.
"Actress Mianmian, how did you do?"
Xue Xi had seen her and had rushed over.
Qing Mian replied, "Boring."
"I knew it, hahaha", Xue Xi laughed.
"You....", Qing Mian was about to talk but was stopped by Xue Xi's and other students scream and giggles.
"Who is that heavenly handsome man?"
"So handsome...."
"Ahhhh, He's coming towards us"

Qing Mian was sick of the noise and looked up angrily but was shocked by what she saw.
