Bab 103: Miraculous fries stand

Suddenly, as Varyn was busy watching the bustling town, something unexpected caught his attention.

Even the Mana Knights of the Vard family, trained to protect Lady Elara and stay alert, were distracted for the first time.

Lady Elara, usually anxious and afraid, found herself drawn to the source too.

Varyn's nostrils flared as a tantalizing smell wafted through the air, making his stomach growl.

The savory aroma was irresistible, and his mouth watered. Drawn by the promise of a good meal, he asked, "Hey, what is that?"

The gate guard, momentarily lost in the smell, finally responded, "Haha! The fries stand is open, and I have plenty of magic crystals to spend, ahahaha!" He then noticed their stares and said, "Oh, sorry about that. What you're smelling is the best in town—the fries stand of Toraz."
