Bab 88: Stingy Baron

Wallace felt the game realm grind to a halt around him. He could feel his powerful predator armor frozen in place, and the creatures who pounced on him were frozen mid-air. Even if he tried to move, he couldn't anymore.

A chill ran down his spine while stared at the eerie notifications flickering across his mask's display absent-mindedly.

The last words of his butler Mendez whirling like a whirlpool in his head as if it was about to take him deep in the ocean of thoughts - a "gift" before his butler had taken his own life within this treacherous virtual world.

What could he have meant by that?

What is the meaning by saying that and congratulating him?

Does he mean his rewards?

Shaking his head, Wallace thought that he would just ask Butler Mendez later, as it bothered him, or he decided to, since he can't trust himself that much, after all he is too lazy for something like that.

He just wants to sleep after this.
