"Did you hear? Miss Jackson is going to live here!"

"She is going to live here for a while until her parents return from a trip." 

"I heard a rumor that she's the real young mistress of our mansion." 

"If that's true, then who is Miss Duval? Is she a lame social climber?"

"Who knows if she's a toad trying to eat chicken meat? I can't imagine the kind of woman she is."

"It's better if Miss Jackson becomes our young mistress. She's the daughter of the Jackson family with an impressive background; she's the perfect match for our young master." 

"Of course, I agree with you!" 

As soon as Maisie stepped into the house after Zachary picked her up, the maid's gossip flickered into her ears.
