The next day, Jiang Lu woke up groggy and went downstairs to prepare breakfast for the children.

Preparation was basically just a matter of serving plates.

Although he wasn't completely useless in the kitchen, Jiang Lu's abilities were limited to frying rice with assorted leftovers; according to the standards of the orphanage director, the children were at a growing age and needed not just ample food but also balanced nutrition.

His fried rice wouldn't even appeal to a dog, and only he could savor it with relish, so naturally, he wasn't allowed to cook.

While waiting for the cook to finish porridge, he squatted in the restroom to take a dump and slack off.
