Bab 18: Chapter 018, Your Eyes, Very Much Resemble Someone

"Snap," a bag was thrown over, landing on the ground in front of Shen Weilan.

A piece of embroidery tumbled out of the bag.

Weilan glanced at it, then looked up at the newcomer.

"Shen Weilan, is this what you embroidered for us, to shame us by unraveling at the banquet?"

Weilan knelt down, picked up the garment from the ground, which was a modified cheongsam. She looked at it and knew at once it was not something she had worked on!

She looked at the visitor and said, "This isn't my handiwork!"

The others present stiffened, seemingly surprised that Shen Weilan could tell!

"The work that comes from my hand has my unique stitches, along with my special mark of Shen Weilan. What's your intention bringing a counterfeit to me?"

"Shen Weilan, you're twisting facts!" the leader of the group bellowed, "No matter what you say, this thing is yours. You've embarrassed us, and now your Embroidery Workshop shouldn't be allowed to operate! Boys, smash it!"
