Chen Ze's mouth twitched, he didn't expect Rose to still remember the "Clouds Over the Golden Fields" dish he had made to brush her off that first time, which was actually just a bowl of instant noodles, and to be specific, it was the old altar pickled beef noodles he quite liked, though he didn't care for them much anymore.

Rose put a piece of pig trotter into her mouth and bit down, then covered her mouth in surprise.

The taste of the dish was fantastic, chewy and not the kind where the meat is stewed until soft, but such that the skin of the pig trotter remained springy. Then, a salty and spicy flavor kicked in, taking the dish to the next level.

Even though it was just a meat dish, Rose couldn't help but detect layers of flavor, prompting her to pick up another piece and savor it in her mouth.

"This is delicious… I feel like my mood has improved a lot today," Rose nodded in satisfaction. Although the vegetables were refreshing, what attracted her most was the meat.
