Bab 55: Chapter 55: Spinach and Lean Pork Congee

"Perfect Paluda?" Chen Ze was a bit bewildered, as this was his first time seeing a dish of perfect level and also the first time he had made one.

But to say that he had made it himself was somewhat problematic, as Chen Ze had of course seen the system's prompt, as well as the remark behind this Paluda.

Chen Ze scratched his head as he looked at the two orphans with their eyes fixated intently on him, and he wasn't entirely sure why this Paluda had reached the perfect level.

Maybe these kids were the system's illegitimate children, but of course, Chen Ze also knew that this was almost entirely impossible, as the system couldn't possibly have illegitimate children.

So that left only one reason.

Chen Ze pushed the two cups of Paluda in front of the wandering children, then turned back to the kitchen; he needed to continue making something to eat.

Paluda could only quench thirst and cravings—if one expected this to fill a stomach, they would probably need to consume several cups.
