Bab 52: Continent

"Disappointing."

These were the last words the drunken pirate heard as his head was cleanly snatched away from his neck.

The world went cold and his vision turned upside down as a cloud of darkness suddenly blinded him. 

He was dead.

The world witnessed this with bated breaths. From the beginning, they'd been in awe at the show of power Adonis displayed but for him to be able to kill the Drunken Pirate? So easily? So rapidly?

They had no words.

Slowly, the members of the Sky Peruser that'd been hiding came out, clapping and cheering as they began to chant in joy.

Adonis watched this all with a strange gaze, full of confusion.

'How strange it is to be.'

Turning around, he looked at Eleanor.

"Did you take care of them?"

While he fought the drunken man, she was tasked with killing the avian beasts while the guards killed the other pirates.

"Hmph."

He smiled then yawned.

"See ya."
