Bab 71: Behind The Facade

Damien's POV:

Alpha Torrain led us to a big gate. I wondered how many defenses they must have had in their pack. For them to be this secluded surely they must have a lot of mechanisms in place to maintain that.

We passed through the gate into the pack and we followed Alpha Torrain to a tower where the form of transport, the cable car, was. It seemed that cable cars were used frequently. In our pack, the cable car was only a sort of entertainment. We never took it as a mode of transportation.

"Welcome to the Silver Hound Pack," Alpha Torrain said as we were moving. "As you can see, we limit the use of technology in this pack. Our pack is divided into three echelons which are separated by two walls."
