"Find more of them for me... and I will grant you more powerful gear to help your journey..." Miss Jeanne offered to me.

I could only stare back at the intense and mystical gaze she was giving me. On her right palm, luminous shards of unknown and mystical properties hovered gracefully.

My mind was in turmoil, as it had been since the moment Miss Jeanne had produced these shards seemingly out of nowhere and then proposed this RPG-like fetch quest. The confusion that had begun with her sudden appearance had only deepened, now reaching an almost overwhelming level.

Everything Miss Jeanne had shown me was beyond the norm of anything I had previously encountered. Her actions and presence felt as if they were on par with a celestial being, far beyond the usual weird realm of a 'normal' supervillain.

I still couldn't fathom that Miss Jeanne, who had seemed to be just an airhead tailor with an unusual fashion sense, was in fact a mystical being of sorts.
