"I'll lend you one of my weapons, you damn loser grunt!" Professor Kala proclaimed proudly and smugly. She was still grasping my face as she said this, and I could see the passion in her eyes.

"Professor?!" The shocked voice of my senior grunt, No. 147, echoed as she heard the professor's proclamation.

"*Whistle*, getting a weapon from the professor herself?" This was from my other senior grunt, Lieutenant No. 220, who seemed to be impressed that the professor would lend a hand to me. "Now that's damn lucky of you, junior~!"

As for me... I was still shell-shocked. I was stuck staring at her beautiful, sharp eyes that radiated fire and passion.

I couldn't believe my ears. Did she really just offer me not only her help but also one of her so-called 'weapons'? I was starting to question if my ears were fine because I didn't think the professor would actually go so far for me.
