Bab 44: 44. Recruiting Slaves.

Underneath the slave merchant building were several underground cellars.

In one of these cellars, a couple of beastmen sat on the floor.

The sound of water dripping from the ceiling echoed continuously within the room, but none of the slaves noticed this sound because each of them was currently lost in whatever they were thinking about.

Suddenly, they heard the creaking sound of doors opening as footsteps walked along the corridor.

Daisy, A bunny girl with brown hair and red eyes heard the sound of the doors opening and footsteps heading towards their way.

Her ears sprung up in alert as she listened carefully to ensure that she heard the incoming footsteps correctly.

"They're here?" Daisy quietly alerted everyone in the cell.

"Luna, wake up," She urged her sister to sit up. The slave merchants didn't like to keep slaves who were sick and no one knew where the sick slaves were always taken to.
