Bab 89: Taking the Mantle

With the report from her associate, Tai Yang, Serena was elated and immensely joyful from the news she had just received.

She couldn't believe that after so long, they had finally found their lost master.

"All these years…" she said, clutching her fingers as they quivered from excitement. "After all the efforts. We have finally found you, master."

A wide smile was plastered on her face and she dismissed Tai Yang.

"Thank you for this information, Tai Yang. You may leave now."

'I have to make contact with the master as soon as possible to prevent him from falling into the wrong hands. If what Lady Decimal assumed was right, he may not even remember me. Tch! Those annoying holier-than-thou bastards are responsible for this!'

Serena boiled inside of her as she thought about the condition that her beloved master was possibly in.

A stream of tears flowed from her eyes. "Who knows if he is suffering now!" she wailed.
