Bab 52: Seeking His Touch

Whisper walked backwards, waving his hands nervously in front of his boss.

"No, boss," he answered. "I would do no such thing. It's just that we don't know this guy and for all we even know, he beat the crap out of a few of us when we met."

Whisper sneakingly took a glance at an unsuspecting Muzane before facing Souzane again as he continued to move away from her.

Souzane stopped and turned back, making her way straight to her room.

"He's on our side if that's your worry," Souzane reassured them before disappearing.

Whisper sighed and wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand.

"Phew! Thank heavens."

Whisper looked up and at the rest of the group, who were staring back at him. With a clap of his hands, he instructed them to come closer.

"Alright, boys! Come and test these out. Find what suits you because that's what you will be wearing tomorrow on our way to the Herb village."
