Solon's chest heaved up and down as his gaze fell in the direction of the ruler of death and darkness, all kinds of harsh emotions simmering in his heart.

He did not want to jump to conclusions but the evidence was quite glaring, was it not?

'She receives a constant influx of information from the souls of the dead. How could she not have known? It's impossible!'

With a thought, his breathing stabilized and he rose his right hand into the air, a signal for the crowd to quiet down.

Once there was graveyard silence – which took only a moment – he begun to address them.

"As many, if not all, of you know – I was neither born nor raised here nor by one of your kin."

"I have also never known what is like to walk in your skin, only half of my heritage being of miasmic grace…"
