Bab 32: 32| A Curse and A Seal

Lines of light formed, shooting up from the little splatters of the glowing stuff on my skin. They crossed up my body and concentrated at my eyes, giving the world a silvery haze. I felt electricity running through my veins–a sensation I hadn't felt in years. 

My eyes widened as I saw sparks of lightning dance on my skin. My element, electricity, my powers were back again. It was gone in an instant, but I had felt it. The trace of my powers that still lingered told me that it was still within me. 

"Yup, she's sealed. There's at least three seals, if not more–" the prime minister leaned down and inspected the stray dancing sparks on my hands. "In fact, I recognise the magic!" 

"Does that mean the seal can be broken?" I asked, finally feeling hope return. Maybe I won't die after all!
