Bab 171: Live With It

Liam sat at his desk, his fingers absently tapping on the keyboard as he stared at the screen. The words and numbers in front of him blurred into a nonsensical mess.

No matter how hard he tried to focus on his work, his mind kept drifting to his date with Maria Sterling at 5 PM. Although he had made the decision, a nagging thought tugged at the back of his mind.

Was he making the right decisions or was he just doing this to get over Fiona's betrayal? Was it what was best for him or was he going to regret this? It was one thing to be betrayed but it was another to completely think one was not worth finding love.

He sighed as he leaned back in his chair, feeling quite confused. He had been burying himself in work over the past few days, determined to keep his mind off Fiona and their abrupt breakup.
