Bab 157: Moving On

The first light of dawn filtered through the thin curtains of Elena's small apartment, casting a soft, pale glow across the room.

The silence was thick with an unspoken heaviness, a tension that clung to the air, as Fiona sat curled up on the edge of Elena's bed, her eyes raw from the endless stream of tears that had flowed through the night.
