The night air was cool and crisp as Fiona and Diana stepped off the train onto the quiet platform of Florittle. It was just past midnight, and the station was nearly deserted, save for a few travelers rushing to their destinations.

Fiona's heart felt as heavy as her suitcase, weighed down by the crushing pain of separation and betrayal she had experienced today.

Her eyes were red and swollen from hours of crying, and her body moved mechanically, each step echoing the emptiness she felt inside knowing she no longer could share her love with Liam.
